Submission Instructions
  • All new submitters MUST begin by creating a new account.
  • All SRS members and those who submitted an abstract in the past two years have an author account in the system. Please do not create a duplicate account but instead search their name in the system first when adding authors to your submission.
  • When adding authors to your submission, please search their name in the system first.
  • For each co-author, you will need full name, designation/degree, email, and institution/affiliation name.
    • Please ensure all email addresses for all co-authors are correct.
  • For technical assistance, please click on the 'Support Form' icon located on the top right hand of each page for support. Support requests are answered within a 24 hour period.
  • Browser back and forward arrows have been disabled.  Users must use the page progress bar located at the top left of each page.
  • Submitters may revisit the site as often as necessary to edit the submission (finalized or not) at any time before the submission deadline.
  • Please use one of the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox 4+, Safari 5+, Chrome 14+, or Edge.  We do not recommend Internet Explorer.

Education Sessions
Education Session Applications can only be submitted by SRS Members. Sessions can range from 30-90 minutes and should be designed for optimum interaction and learning. Format options include debates, case discussions, panels, short instructional lectures, and “other” alternate formats; innovation is encouraged.

Abstracts
Abstracts can be submitted by SRS Members as well as non-members.

Attendance
Education Sessions
By submitting an application for the 30th IMAST, education session authors are agreeing that they and all faculty presenters will pre-register and present in person at the meeting venue. All education session faculty will be notified of presentation times in their invitation letter, and, upon acceptance, are expected to make appropriate travel arrangements to ensure they will be in attendance. 

Abstracts
By submitting an application for the 30th IMAST, abstract authors are agreeing that at least one author will attend the meeting if accepted and will be available to present in person on the date and at the time assigned by the organizing committee. Authors will be notified of presentation times in or shortly after their acceptance letter and are expected to make appropriate travel arrangements to ensure that at least one of the authors will be in attendance. In addition, presenting authors are expected to pre-register to attend the meetings for which they are accepted by the deadline set forth in their acceptance notification. Submissions for which an author is not pre-registered by the dates set forth with automatically be withdrawn from the program.

Notifications
All submitters will be notified via email of the status of their submission(s). In the event that you do not receive email notification, please log into the submission site at ANY time to view any recent mail regarding your submissions. Please also verify that the submission site has your current email.

Acceptance
All selected authors will be required to complete a formal acceptance process to confirm their invitation and participate in the program. Education session presenters are required to accept by December 1, 2022. Abstract presenters are required to accept by January 13, 2023. All presenters will be able to access the acceptance process from this site’s Guidelines page

Abstract Presentation Cancellation & No-Show Policy
If an author or co-author is not able to attend the meeting to present in person, it is expected that the submission be withdrawn in advance of the meeting, and no later than February 1, 2023, to permit an alternate paper to be substituted.  In the case of a “no-show” oral presentation, please note that all authors and co-authors associated with the “no-show” paper will be prohibited from presenting any papers at the next two (2) IMAST or Annual Meetings.

E-Poster Cancellation Policy
At least one author or co-author on all E-Posters are expected to register to attend the meetings for which they are accepted by the deadline set forth in their acceptance notification. If this author cancels their registration prior to the meeting, the E-Poster may be withdrawn from the program.

Advanced Presentation Submission Requirement
All presentations must clear a CME review conducted by the SRS CME Committee. Presenters may be required to submit slides for review before the meeting and may be asked to make small or significant changes if a bias issue is found. Failure to address pertinent CME review issues will result in pulling the presentation from the program and a one year ban for abstract presentations and a three-year ban for invited presentations.

CME Submission & Review Requirement
All presentations must clear a CME review conducted by the SRS CME Committee. Presenters may be required to submit slides for review before the meeting and may be asked to make small or significant changes if a bias issue is found. Failure to address pertinent CME review issues will result in pulling the presentation from the program, as well as a one-year ban for abstract presentations and a three-year ban for invited education session presentations.

Disclosures
All abstract authors are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement and FDA Disclosure Form during the online submission process. In the event that one or more authors on an abstract have not completed these required forms prior to the November 1, 2022 abstract submission deadline, the abstract will NOT be reviewed or considered for inclusion in either the IMAST or Annual Meeting programs. No exceptions will be made. All Education Session participants are also required to submit disclosures and will be prompted to complete these forms later in the process.
